Rescue-tech-Wales was set up in 2001 by husband and wife, Richard and Kerry Bate to provide Medical & Rescue Services in motorsport and medical/FAW training for industry and commerce. The initial business plan was heavily biased towards training but it very quickly became apparent that our company was going to develop in line with our motorsport activities. Through the first years of trading we actively pursued historic motorsport organisations and successfully developed relationships with the best historic motorsport event organisers in the UK and Europe. |

Richard and Kerry formalised the "Partnership" in 2003 and although very much a family based business we have no doubt that we provide the very best service in our field of activity. During our first years of trading we invested heavily in top quality equipment and vehicles continuing the quality approach with our corporate image which we believe to be amongst the best in the industry. As our company developed, the demands for our services grew necessitating the recruitment of more staff to expand our team. We have been very particular in our choice of team members using only qualified and competent people, with the experience to assist with the growth of our company but who also have a passion for our core business, motorsport. With the foundations of our business now in place we have started to move into our second phase of development. Phase two of our company development will include further equipment and vehicle purchases and a concerted effort to promote our company brand while continuing to improve our service in support of our existing clients. Check your Medics? - Are the medics you use on your events legitimate? It is a sad fact that unscrupulous non-medical professionals try to pass themselves of as qualified, up-to-date and insured when in fact they are not. All of the medics we use are professional and already working above the level of qualification required in the UK by the under JRCALC recommendations and NHS. Our team are also insured, up-to-date and highly competent and can prove their competency through HPC, MSA amp; FiA licences. If the medics you are using are not legitimate then your event insurance will be nullified and you could find yourself undefended against a medical negligence claim. Check your medic at www.hpc-uk.org and promote genuine medical professionals. ![]() |
