Rescue-tech-Wales developed from an idea that has its origin in the 1997 Peking to Paris Rally for historic cars. Richard Bate the owner and operator of Rescue-tech-Wales was a paramedic on the event medical team and to say the very least was inspired by the countries and people he met on the 18,000km overland challenge. Even today Richard finds it hard to believe he drove a car 18,000km from Peking to Chester through some of the most inhospitable yet stimulating counties in the world. Life changing adventures aside, Richard began to approach established rally organisers offering his services as an experienced wilderness medic. After many setbacks and disappointments Rescue-tech-Wales started to build a client base which includes Classic Rally Association, Three Castles Rallying, Motorsport Vision (Oulton Park, Brands Hatch, Snetterton and Cadwell Park), Classic Tours, PMI Partnership, South Yorkshire Kart Club and Suzuki Junior World Rally Team. Events as far apart as China and USA, have been successfully covered by our company and we have provided medical and rescue cover at live action events such as the Motor Show Live, Autosport Show and Top Gear Live. Rescue-tech-Wales is a family run business that takes pride in its ability to learn from our customers and adapt to meet their needs. However, in order to do this we need your feedback. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your needs and requirements, or just to make suggestions about the website. We look forward to hearing from you! Richard & Kerry Bate (Rescue-tech-Wales)
